Do your birthdays bum you out?
Mine used to. I've had meltdowns, cried, screamed and refused to get out of bed. With a brother 2 years + 1 day older than me, I was used to sharing my special day and as an adult I added huge layers of expectations and pressures for the people around me to create an amazing experience.
Before the day even arrived, I was anticipating the disappointment and guaranteed let down.
This year I'm doing something different...
